Post-Conviction Sex Offender Testing (PCSOT) Seminar
|
| In 2009 The American Polygraph Association (APA) PCSOT Committee recommended new guidelines and standards for conducting post conviction sex offender testing (PCSOT), added newly defined tests for addressing post-conviction issues, and suggested newly revised standards for the APA’s certification and re-certification of PCSOT examiners. BMI Director, Eric J. Holden, M.A., L.P.C. chaired this model development committee (2007-2009) and will instruct how these newly developed tests and procedures should be incorporated into an examiner’s PCSOT practice. The faculty and guest instructors of Behavioral Measures Institute are some of the best in the world and will bring new information to help practitioners conduct and defend their work. |
| We are proud of our reputation for providing focused, intense, and enjoyable learning experiences. This seminar will provide an opportunity to learn about the new PCSOT Guidelines, the role PCSOT has earned in the management and containment model for sexual offenders; and will provide students with the necessary tools to improve their professional product through the use of state of the art teaching technology. |
This seminar brings together noted experts in specialties associated with testing, treating, and assessing risk to re-offend with populations of sexual and other offenders currently incarcerated, in civil-commitment settings, on probation and parole, and whose behaviors represent “high risks” to public safety.
